Control Room Monitor Mixes

The Beatles often made personal recordings of studio playbacks and mixdowns. These recording would be listened to at home for reference purposes. Several of these "control room monitor mixes" have turned up on unauthorized releases and offer an unique insight into the recording process and often times preserve tracks or mixes that are otherwise lost to time. The photos seen here were taken in Studio Two at E.M.I. during the Help! session in 1965. None of these specific recordings have surfaced.
