The Beatles played the London Palladium three times (13 October 1963, 12 January 1964 and 23 July 1964). While the auction description states 1963, this disc could possibly be any of these performances.
Master Room, located in England used this syle label in (at least) 1976-77. The only other Beatles releated acetate that I've seen on this label is George Harrison's "33 1/3" from 1976. So, perhaps, as the auction description states, this disc dates from the 1970s.
Obviously, a good quality recording exists of the October 1963 show but why would Apple or E.M.I. have a disc like this produced?
Is this possibly unauthorized?
