Dave Hull Interviews

Tape 1
DAVE HULL is a legend in the Los Angeles area. He worked as a DJ at KRLA, KFI, KMPC AND KHJ. He became close with The Beatles on their tours of America in 1965 and 1966. He made approximately 14 taped interviews of The Beatles. Hull was also involved with Bob Eubanks in the planning of The Beatles' concert at Hollywood Bowl.
In 1997, he sold off all of his tapes.

The first tape is on Scotch. It is labeled "Beatle Interviews Bahama Beatle Tape #9". Recorded February 25, 1965. The tape is from Hull's two-week trip in 1965 when he went to The Bahamas with The Beatles for the filming of Help! This interview takes place on the beach during the filming of Help! Quality is Excellent! Topics include: George fixing up his Esher house, John's book, Paul on filming Help!, Mal Evans (Beatles road manager) on his part in the film, George on going out clubbing, Walter Shenson (Help's producer) on casting Mal, Ringo's role in the movie, and more. The tape is in its original condition. No dubbing, editing, equalizing or any other changes have been made.

The second tape is apparently from the same time. It was auctioned on the Good Rockin' Tonight website in January 2003.
